(AllAfrica)--The quality of governance improved in nearly two-thirds of sub-Saharan African nations between 2005 and 2006. Liberia showed the biggest leap in government performance in the period, while Mauritania deteriorated the most.

(APA)--Les députés de la Communauté de l’Afrique de l’Est (EAC) et l’Assemblée Législative de l’Afrique de l’Est (EALA) ont recommandé vendredi dans leur grande majorité, le rejet de l’accord cadre des Accords européens de partenariat économique (APE) proposés aux pays membres de l’EAC par l’Union européenne (UE).
