Oxfam launches a guide on the AU

(AU Monitor)--Oxfam, in partnership with the Africa Governance Monitoring and Advocacy Project (AfriMAP), an initiative of the Soros foundation network’s four African foundations, launched a manual, in memory of the late Pan-Africanist Tajudeen Abdul Raheem, entitled ‘Strengthening Popular Participation in the African Union: A Guide to AU Structures and Processes’ on 27/01/2010 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Civil Society Groups Slam AU’s Decision on ICC

(PANA)--More than 130 civil society and human rights groups across Africa issued a statement on Thursday, calling on African governments that are signatories to the International Criminal Court (ICC) convention to reaffirm their commitment and obligation to the court.
