Objectives
• Present and disseminate civil society shadow reports on implementation of the solemn Declaration
• Review reports of the AU member states, identify shortcomings in implementation and make recommendations
• Awareness raising on the solemn Declaration on Gender Equality in Africa
• Reinforce civil society role and commitment in the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the Solemn Declaration
• Undertake advocacy and mobilize media on gender mainstreaming
