First anniversary of the Kampala Convention: IDMC calls for ratifications
IDMC (Press Release)-- On the eve of the first anniversary of the adoption of the Convention for the Protection and Assistance of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Africa by the African Union (AU), the Internal Displacement Monitoring Centre (IDMC) calls on African countries to sign and ratify the Convention at the earliest possible time, including those that are not currently affected by displacement.
