blogging about Gender Equality
Hello to all other bloggers, and I’m glad to already see strong feelings expressed about gender equality.
Anything relating to gender roles and gender quality is not an easy subject to blog about. Despite the reality that women are affected in far greater numbers by poverty, climate change, lack of health care, unemployment and lack of education, there are many who will claim that women’s discrimination is not really a problem. How does that make you feel, to hear people deny that women are discriminated against?
Another reality is that many development programs, when focused on men, improve the health and quality of life for men, but when these programs are focused on women, the health and quality of the entire community—men, women, children, the elderly—is affected positively. Why do you think this is? Why do you think focusing on women’s equality actually ends up helping everyone?
Finally, can you talk a bit about your own experience regarding gender equality—when you have observed discrimination based on gender, when you have experienced it yourself, and how it has affected you?
I will answer these questions as well, for myself, but first I would like to hear from others. And if you disagree—speak out!

Gender equality
Gender is a word used to describe male and female. Mostly men are seen so powerful thereby humiliating women.
In African country women are ignored and they are seen as men’s servant this makes them to be discriminated
in most of functions. This lowers women dignity and also is an advantage to men that they may use them
whenever they want.Gender equality is needed to equalize all men and women because both have same thinking
capacity and women have the senses that men have. Women should believe that they are capable of doing anything men do.
So there must be equal chances of responsibility to both men and women.

GENDER EQUILITY
Hi everyone. don’t you think that today’s topic is kind of interesting by this we can all empress what we thing about this men who stop to thing that they are the only one’s who deserve all the good things and us ladies, we just know about kitchen work only, dem them. they all forget that what a man can do a woman can do even better. you know what they say behind every man’s success they is a woman behind it. ok let’s check in the side of politics’s when a woman stand and decide to fight for the presidential sit you will hear people saying “that woman is so strong and has alot of ideas” but still they won’t vote for her, why? bcoz she is a woman. then again if a child has went to school and happens to pass well then that child is a baby’s father then wait until she start’s dropping then that’s the child’s mother, by this is like women don’t know anything. even when you go to a certain big conference in most case’s men are the one’s ruling them, even in the board room always men are the one’s that are alot and for that women’s point don’t seem that much important, actually if you thing about it is so painful coz even us we do have feeling’s and we all want to be heard. but then again let’s look on the bright side atleast nowadays we have started to be heard like in the parliament there is some mp’s who are women and that’s so great, also husband’s do accept there wives to go to work and more great things and also accepted that as much as the men are important in this community women are also needed as well to complete this country of our’s.

Can we ever be equal?
Hey there,
Hope you all had a nice weekend. This week we shall be blogging about gender equality
As women I know you have much to say about this so lets talk about this.
Is gender equality something that we should fight for or is it something that we just want so that we can get
noticed.
I looing forward to reading your posts.
CAN WE ALL EVER BE EQUAL?
This is a question that lingers in the mind of many women.me inclusive.
This is a very senstive issue,it gets tempers rising, chairs flying you name it.
I dont want to sound too sentimental so I will not say much.I believe that men and women
are equal no doubt, thats what my mama told me and am sticking to it.I have three brother ,I am
an only girl so I do know how men can be but I take my stand if its your turn to do the dishes go ahead and do it
I don’t like it when men won’t do anything just because there is a woman around to clean, cook and change his diaper.
as I said before this is a sensitive topic and I am already sentimental so I will do myself and all of you a favour and stop.
