BAWo Participants’ Blogs
It’s been such a busy and rewarding week. The young ladies joined us on Thursday and in 2 days they have accomplished so much. Some were using a computer for the first time yesterday and now they have come so far.
Some were using email for the first time yesterday and now have an email address. We were able to learn about blogs: what they are; what they can be used for; how to use them. We practiced reading and commenting on the facilitator’s blogs. The young ladies have since set-up their own blogs and created Facebook profiles. On Monday, we look forward to learning how social networking sites can be used to build and strengthen online communities.
Here are the blogs created by the BAWo participants. We look forward to your using them as a platform to share your own perspectives on your communities and the world.
