The South African Labour Bulletin is an independent publication that has reported on the world of work in all its dimensions from a labour
perspective for nearly thirty years.

The Editorial Board of the Bulletin seeks to appoint a new Editor to lead the exciting process of restructuring and re-launching South Africa's premier labour publication. The core responsibilities for this post include:

Ensuring the Bulletin continues to be published on schedule to a high standard and

Leading the process of restructuring and re-designing the publication
including the current institutional set-up.

The successful candidate will have experience in the field of media production and project management, including donor liaison, and will
also have a good understanding of the labour sector and its dynamics. A
driver's licence and good networking skills are essential.

Applications from previously disadvantaged candidates and from people outside South Africa are particularly encouraged. The post could be
filled on a permanent basis or on a shorter-contract to start as soon as
possible. The remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
