The uses of GIS in epidemiology and public health monitoring will be explored in this course. Students will learn how to map public health indicators, identify disease clusters, and explore the geography of environmental risks.

Taught by Zvia Segal Naphtali, Ph.D. (1981) who is an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at the Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service, New York University, where she has been teaching GIS, Data Management, and Statistics courses over the past six years.
