VACANCY: WOUGNET Information/Research Officer
Women of Uganda Network (WOUGNET) is a non-governmental organisation initiated

women as tools to share information and address issues collectively.
WOUGNET requires an information/researcher officer to strengthen the delivery
of WOUGNET programs. Women are particularly encouraged to apply.
Duty Station:
Kampala, Uganda
Key duties and responsibilities:
- Management of the day to day affairs of WOUGNET.
- Responsible to the WOUGNET Coordinator and WOUGNET Administration Board.
- Attending and recording minutes of the Board and WOUGNET
committees/working groups.
- Performing other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned to
promote WOUGNET activities.
Required qualifications and experience:
- A degree in Library and Information Sciences is desirable.
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with people of
different backgrounds.
- Computer and Internet literate.
- Good writing and research skills.
- Availability to travel locally and abroad at short notice.
- Ability to work in an online environment and with minimum supervision.
