A working paper by Developpement Institutions & Analyses de Long terme (DIAL) sets out to make a detailed analysis of five Sub-Saharan African countries, focusing on inequalities of income and other resources required for economic activity such as land, education and health. It is innovative in that it allows measuring for the first time the inequality of opportunity in Africa, aside inequality of resources and of living standards.
