During the past two years, the Beyond Aid Project (a collaboration between Charities Aid Foundation-Ghana and the Ghana Association of Private Voluntray Organisations in Development) has successfully trained 192 NGOs in local fundraising techniques, facilitated the design of a new Partnership Framework for Government/NGO relations in Ghana, initiated ongoing dialogue between NGOs and the corporate sector, and encouraged NGOs to form collaborative alliances. This second Beyond Aid conference has been developed to share lessons learned from these successes, as well as explore strategies for deepening NGO/Corporate partnerships.
