* Using ICT to fight HIV/AIDs.
Many projects are starting to use email, the Internet and CD-ROM
material to teach and reach more people to provide them with Sexual
and Reproductive Health (SRH) Information and Services. Projects
such as World Link and organisation such as IPPF and WHR are using
such technologies to reach their beneficiaries.

* Internet Helps Education in Nepal
Nangi is a little known village in Nepal, but thanks to the
Internet, and to an education pioneer, Nahabir Pun, its name is now
on the map. Nahabir Pun who brought computers and the Internet to
Nangi, and by establishing the Nangi web site, was able to provide
information about Nangi and Nepal to the world.

* Tackling the Digital Divide
There are thousands of initiatives aimed at tackling the digital
divide but there are bound to fail if they just focus on computers
and connections, according to a study undertook by Bridges.org.
