Southern African journalists reporting socio-economic development issues are invited to submit entries for the 2005 Southern African Development Community (SADC) Media Awards. The annual contest is administered by government communication agencies in each of SADC's 14 member nations. The award aims to promote regional cooperation and integration by encouraging journalists to improve their reporting and analysis of regional development issues.
