UN spokespersons announced that before discussing the issue at the foreign ministerial level on January 27, the Council will review the situation in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Tension between Eritrea and Ethiopia is expected to be another important point on the agenda, particularly the situation of UN forces in these two countries, as UN actions have been restricted by Asmara, as reported by Prensa Latina.
