The Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) wishes to facilitate information-sharing and to assist countries in the development of national plans of action for human rights education.
The Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) has just
issued a COMPENDIUM OF NATIONAL PLANS OF ACTION FOR HUMAN RIGHTS EDUCATION
(updated version/February 2001). With this initiative, OHCHR wishes to
facilitate information-sharing and to assist countries in the development
of national plans of action for human rights education.
The Compendium is composed of the following parts:
A. An Introduction, which provides background information on the
development of national plans of action for human rights education;
B. The Texts of existing national plans of action for human rights
education, including relevant sections of overall national human
rights plans;
C. Various Annexes, including relevant United Nations Documents.
