World Water & Environmental Congress

The Congress is offering a very diverse program of technical sessions, short courses, plenary sessions, workshops and exhibits.

Speakers are from around the world, with over 600
papers being presented.

Two peer reviewed symposia on the topics of Urban Drainage Modeling and Integrated Surface and Ground Water are being held as part of the Congress. Other focused tracks include Environmental Modeling, Rivers & Reservoirs, Stormwater & BMPs, Water Resources Management, Current Environmental Issues and Water Distribution System Analysis.

The ICWP will be hosting a USGS Stremgaging Workshop and the American Academy of Environmental Engineers will be presenting their 2001 Excellence in Environmental Engineering Awards.

The series of daily plenary sessions moderated by G. Galloway of the International Joint Commission will feature J. Lash, World Resources Institute, R. Lenton, United Nations Development Program, M. Van Putten, National Wildlife Federation, Major General H. Van Winkle, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, H. Candee, Natural Resources Defense Council, D. Fort, Western States Water Council, D. Struhs, Florida Department of Environmental Protection, and Rock Salt, South Florida Ecosystem Restoration Task Force.
