I am researching for the Global Centre for Health and Economic Development, New York at Columbia University. I am working on formulating a task force to work on controling and eliminating HIV/AIDS under the UN Millenial Development Goals Project. The task force will consist of 'leaders' and organisations who/which have shown committment or have distinguished themselves in any aspect of HIV/AIDS from any part of the world.

I am researching for the Global Centre for Health and Economic Development,

I am working on formulation a task force to work on
controling and eliminateing HIV/AIDS under the UN Millenial Development
Goals Project. The task force will consist of 'leaders' and organisations
who/which have shown committment or have distinguished themselves in any
aspect of HIV/AIDS from any part of the world. I knwo the term 'leaders' is
very
ambiguous, but thats what I have been asked to work with and hence I am
thinking
of them in terms of the following feilds:
1. Research/Resource persons
2. Financial
3. Influential- Political etc
4. Activists
5. Specialists in a particular field
6. Legal
7. Pharmaceutical
8. Proposal reviewing
9. Human rights

This may include people doing interesting, innovative research, working in
any other way to control/eradicate HIV/AIDS or the organisations who should
have some sort of an international scope/linkage
