The International Workshop on Resource Mobilisation (IWRM) is an annual international workshop organised by the Resource Alliance.
Now in its fifth year, the IWRM has established a global reputation as the key forum for both training and policy discussion on local resource mobilisation. It provides an unrivalled opportunity to network, debate and share information on a truly international scale with fellow delegates from INGOs, local not-for-profit organisations and donor and governmental communities from all over the world.
The 5th IWRM will be taking place at the Birchwood Executive Hotel, Johannesburg, South Africa, 26th-28th March 2004. The core programme will provide cutting-edge training in all aspects of resource mobilisation, including fundraising, communication, accountability and mobilising local involvement. The programme also includes a Policy Day, which will specifically focus on the wider policy environment in which not-for-profit organisations operate in and the challenges and opportunities in the global south
The programme features up to 30 leading international experts and practitioners such as: Kurt MacLeod, (PACT Cambodia), Sean de Cleene, (African Institute of Corporate Citizenship), Adam Habib, (Centre for Civil Society) Colleen du Toit (Southern African Grantmakers’ Association) and Tony Elischer (THINK Consulting Solutions).
