ProCOR is an email- and web-based forum for the global exchange of information and ideas to prevent cardiovascular disease, especially in developing countries.

ProCOR is an email- and web-based forum for the global exchange of information
and ideas to prevent cardiovascular disease, especially in developing countries.
ProCOR was created in 1997 by Dr. Bernard Lown, Nobel Peace Prize winner and
inventor of the cardiac defibrillator and cardioverter, in response to the need
for access to the information about cardiovascular disease and prevention.
Through ProCOR, people exchange information, share research, access current
literature, collaborate with colleagues, obtain support, and find a voice within
a global community. Subscription to ProCOR's emailed Global Dialogue is free.
To subscribe, send a message containing your name, email address, and country to
Catherine Coleman ([email protected]) Editor in Chief, ProCOR. For those
who have access to the web, ProCOR's website (www.procor.org) offers a rich
repository of resources, including journal article reviews and a catalog of
community studies.
