Coming at a time when the G8 summit in Gleneagles, Scotland was a focus of efforts to overcome poverty in Africa, the London bombings sparked a debate about the links between poverty and terrorism. But, asks this article from www.worldpress.org, are the links really tenable? If the prime source of terrorist funds originate from The Arabian Gulf, one of the richest regions in the world, how does it add up that poverty is the major catalyst of terrorism?
