Part of a wider initiative to re-connect the countries of the African Union (AU) with the Caribbean countries, along with African people throughout the world, this conference aims to explore the mutual benefits of closer co-operation in all aspects of life, to share the experience of overcoming slavery, colonialism and apartheid, and to maximise on the positive gains and contributions to the totality of human existence. The conference will be held at The Brit Oval, London on 24-25 April 2007.
