MANGO'S PROGRAMME OF TRAINING EVENTS 2003
===========================================

The 2003 programme of Mango's financial management training for NGOs is
now available to view on our website. Just follow this link:

http://www.mango.org.uk/ngos/training_intro.html [2]

However, if you don't have easy access to the internet, just reply to
this message and we will send you the calendar as a Word text-file
attachment.

2002 has been a very busy first full year for the Mango Training
Department. And our courses have been so well received and in such high
demand that we are currently recruiting for a full-time Financial
Management Trainer, so that we can extend the programme.

In the coming year, we are delighted to introduce some new short courses
in response to popular demand. The training programme will be delivered
in regional locations around the world, including Kenya, Zambia, Ghana,
Thailand, Jordan and the UK.

Our current programme of events (ranging from 1 day to 2 weeks in
duration) caters for a wide range of needs in the relief and development
sector, and can also be adapted for 'in-house' training events:

FM1 Practical Financial Management for NGOs: Getting the Basics
Right
FM2 Strategic Financial Management for NGOs
FM3 Working with Southern Partners: Financial Management for
Programme Managers
FM4 Financial Management in the Field: A short course for
Accountants
TFT1 Getting the Financial Management Message Across: A short course
for Finance Trainers
AB1 Field Accounting Basics NEW!!
BB2 Budgeting Basics NEW!!
CB1 Working with Spreadsheets NEW!!
FM5 Financial Management for Development NGOs: Foundations, Tools
and Strategies NEW!!

If you would like detailed course outlines for any of these courses, do
drop us a line. Meanwhile, I have copied below some brief details of
the schedule for 2003. Please do get in touch with Barbara Johnstone,
[email protected] [3], if you would like more information or to book
places.

Please be kind enough to forward this message to any colleagues who
might be interested in Mango's highly rated finance training. And if
you would rather not receive any further mailings from Mango, please
accept our apologies and simply reply to this message with the word
'unsubscribe' in the message subject line.
