PROGRAMME ON REINFORCEMENT OF PASTORAL CIVIL SOCIETY IN EAST AFRICA
PROGRAMME MANAGER
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the post of Programme Manager for the Programme on Reinforcement of Pastoral Civil Society in East Africa. The programme is implemented jointly by RECONCILE and the Drylands Programme of the International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED) in collaboration with pastoral civil organisations, NGOs and donor projects in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.
As Programme Manager, you will run this regional programme in close consultation with the Core Advisory Group and the two implementing agencies.
The appointment is on a contract basis for three years, renewable. Details of the appointment and of the programme are contained in the Job Description attached to this notice.
Interviews for the position shall be conducted at a venue in East Africa on 12th September 2003. The venue shall be communicated to the shortlisted applicants by 8th August 2003. Ideally the successful candidate shall take up the appointment as soon as possible after 1st October 2003.
