INVITATION TO NAPWA PICKETING TO MAJOR INSURANCE COMPANIES, AND MARCH 21ST NATIONAL RALLY AT ALEXANDRA IN GAUTENG

The National Association of People Living With HIV/AIDS will be unfolding a series of picketing and demonstrations targeting the major insurance companies for their policy on HIV positive people. The pickets will be on the 13, 14 and 15th of March 2002 at Old Mutual, Sanlam and Metropolitan.

On the 18th there will be a big march to the Insurance companies, while on the 19th March NAPWA will march to the Office of the President of South Africa to raise issues such as R1000-00 Grant Access to all PWA's and policy on insurance companies.

On the 21st of March 2002, NAPWA will hold a National Rally that will be held at Alexandra Township in Johannesburg, where Minister of Health Dr. Mantombazana Tshabalala-Msimang will be among the guest speakers to the expected crowd of 25 000 people.
