We ask for your and your organization's endorsement of the July 7th 2002
ATTN(AIDS Therapeutic Treatment Now) March to take place in Barcelona,
Spain
immediately prior to the opening ceremonies of the International AIDS
Conference. If you are able to do so, please complete the endorsement

GOAL:
To secure a global commitment for the treatment of 2 million people living
with and dying from HIV/AIDS before the next International AIDS Conference
in Bangkok, Thailand in 2004.

WHY:
Each day, 8,500 people around the world die from AIDS--
6,400 of these deaths alone occur in sub-Saharan Africa. This can and must

be stopped, not with words, but with action.

HOW:
Global partners AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF), The Network of AIDS
Communities of South Africa (NetCom SA) and the Uganda Business Coalition
on HIV/AIDS (UBC) invite individuals and organizations worldwide to join
the ATTN campaign. By working with established global AIDS efforts and
building a worldwide coalition to support this March, ATTN hopes to kick
off an international commitment to HIV/AIDS treatment access.

WHEN:
For those of you attending the International AIDS Conference or who may be
able to get to Barcelona, please join us in this March as an important call
to action on Sunday afternoon, July 7th, 2002 at 4:00pm. For those unable
to
join us, we welcome your endorsements and support of this MARCH FOR LIFE.

WHERE:
The ATTN March will begin with a rally featuring celebrity,
political, and AIDS treatment advocates. The March will
commence from a Barcelona landmark and finish at the site of the opening of
the International AIDS Conference at the Palau Olimpic St. Jordi in time
for conference participants to attend the opening ceremonies.

communities, faiths, backgrounds, countries and cultures to unite in the
call to fulfill the ethical demand for access to AIDS medication for all.
