I write to announce the launching of the International Human Rights Funders
Group (IHRFG) Web site: http://www.HRfunders.org

The Web site has been designed as a resource not only for human rights funders
but also human rights groups around the world. We suggest that you begin
exploring the site by visiting the page that lists the Web site's entire
contents. You can do this by selecting SITE MAP, which is located on the bottom
list of menu items on the home page.

We are particularly pleased to be able to provide an online searchable FUNDERS
DATABASE of human rights funding and funders. The IHRFG is committed to
expanding and updating the database so that it becomes a helpful resource for
grantseekers.

We also look forward to learning from you. You can help us by submitting
NEWS AND ESSAYS, PUBLICATIONS, and HELPFUL LINKS to share with funders. (Please
do not post links to your own organization unless it is to a specific page that
contains a database, resource list or other information that is more generally
useful to funders. View the links that are currently posted on our web site for
examples.) In particular, items from a variety of international sources
(African, Asian, European, Latin American, etc.) will be tremendously
appreciated.
