The Electoral Institute of Southern Africa (EISA), International IDEA, and the Executive Secretariat of the Non-Governmental Process for the Community of Democracies, are co-organising an African Regional Workshop which aims to facilitate discussion with a broad group of actors in Sub-Saharan Africa on the main democratic deficits in the region, and to provide concrete proposals to be presented at the next Ministerial meeting in Santiago (2005).
