Indeed, African women have suffered long enough - oppression, suppression, repression and discrimination. We need an urgent action to put a final stop to all that, but we need to have some mechanisms for facilitation. The protocol is a very welcome development and its ratification will be a good stepping stone towards the eradication of the violation of the rights of African women.
