While discussing Haiti, it became evident to Kimari and participants of this meeting that Kenyans share Haitians’ struggles. The agendas, policies, and governing forces responsible for creating injustice in Haiti are simultaneously compromising the livelihoods of Kenyans. Through the expression of solidarity, and awareness of persistent global inequality, social change may prevail.
